All meetings will be held at 6:30pm at either the Empire Fire Station, located at 405 Empire Boulevard or Culver Station, located at 2960 Culver Road, in the Town of Irondequoit, Rochester, NY.

New Marine Unit 1776 Has Arrived!

A little over 2 years ago the, then Ridge Culver Fire District, approved the purchase of a new marine Fire Boat. A committee had been formed to evaluate the needs and risks of the Irondequoit Bay and to evaluate different boat designs to maximize our response capabilities to answer these challenges. During the process the IFD was formed by the consolidation between Ridge Culver and Laurelton.

Lieutenant Andrew Beyea Receives Fire Officer Designation!

Congratulations to Firefighter Ryan Kohlmeier who has been promoted to the rank of Fire Lieutenant. Lieutenant Kohlmeier is currently assigned to group 1 and has spent the last several months serving the district as a Temporary Lieutenant.

Take C.H.A.R.G.E of battery fire safety

2023 Awards & Swearing in ceremony

On Thursday November 16th, the Irondequoit Fire District held its annual awards and swearing in ceremony. The first portion of the ceremony was the swearing in of five Firefighters, two Lieutenants and one Assistant Fire Chief. The Ridge-Culver Volunteer Fire Association was recently presented a check from local relator Jason Ruffino. A long supporter of the Irondequoit Fire Service Community, Jason wanted to give back to the community he grew up in. Jason donates $500 for every home he sells in Irondequoit.
