Earlier this month, IFD welcomed four transfer firefighters to our ranks. All of these firefighters have varying levels of experience on the job, from one to four years. With these additions, each of our duty groups are now full with 10 per group. This will undoubtably help streamline our operation to better serve the residents and visitors of the IFD.

During their first few weeks with us, these firefighters conducted some basic in house training to get acclimated with IFD and they have since been assigned to a group. Please join us in welcoming our new members:

• F.F. Nic Lee, badge #46 joins us from Medina F.D. and is assigned to group 2
• F.F. Matt Tornatore, badge #47 joins us from Fishers F.D. and is assigned to group 4
• F.F. Tyler Gokey, badge #48 joins us from Victor F.D. and is assigned to group 3
• F.F. Colin Dake, badge #49 joins us from Henrietta F.D. and is assigned to group 1
