
Many thanks to Skylight Signs Inc. of Rochester for installing a new LED sign on our Culver Rd. station. After almost four years after consolidation, the former “Ridge-Culver Fire Dept.”

Following an extensive peer review process, this designation recognizes demonstrated excellence in seven measured components.

We look forward to his leadership and continued commitment to the residents of the District.

From welcoming a new recruit class of Volunteer Firefighters beginning their basic in-house training, to conducting rope evolutions and firefighter-down scenarios with our duty crews, there has been no shortage of activity.

The memorial was graciously paid for by the members of the Irondequoit Professional Firefighters Assn, Laurelton Volunteer Fire Assn and the Ridge Culver Volunteer Firefighters Assn.

This three-day course prepared our members to formally represent IFD at events such as parades, funerals, and various ceremonies.

Temporary Fire Captain Ryan Kohlmeier has been officially promoted to the rank of Fire Captain.

For the second time this year, IFD has concluded live fire training for each of our duty crews and volunteer staff along with our mutual aid partners from St. Paul FD.
