Welcome to the Irondequoit Fire District.
I am honored to serve as Fire Chief of the Irondequoit Fire District, a position I have held since July 2024. I am proud to be the second Fire Chief of this organization following the 2022 consolidation of the Laurelton and Ridge Culver Fire Districts. This consolidation marked an important step forward in strengthening fire and emergency services for our community, and it is a privilege to help lead the District during this period of growth and continued development.
The Irondequoit Fire District is made up of more than 80 dedicated career and volunteer firefighters, officers, and support staff who work every day to provide the highest level of service to our residents and neighboring jurisdictions. I am extremely proud of the professionalism, commitment, and teamwork demonstrated by our members, and I am grateful for the trust our community places in us.
I am a fourth-generation firefighter and fire chief in my family, and I take great pride in continuing a long-standing tradition of service to the community. The fire service has changed dramatically over the past century, and today’s challenges require constant adaptation, training, and innovation. I am excited to continue the evolution of our department while honoring the values and traditions that define the fire service.
Our mission is to provide the highest level of emergency service through strong standards of response, comprehensive training, and unwavering professionalism. We remain committed to protecting lives and property while serving as a reliable partner to our regional public safety agencies.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about the Irondequoit Fire District. We are proud to serve you.
